4th May 2026 – The BDC Records Management Committee paid a courtesy visit to Jabatan Arkib Negeri Sabah and was warmly welcomed by Mr. Stephen Wong the Deputy Director, Puan Nur Faezzah Hj Ismail the Head of Records Management and their team. The visit aimed to strengthen relationships and improve understanding of proper records management practices.

The visit provided useful exposure on file classification, documents management and disposal procedures. It also increased awareness on the importance of good records management in supporting efficiency, transparency, and accountability, and helped identify areas for improvement in our current practices.

The committee also had the opportunity to visit the library, where historical publications dating back to 1893 were preserved and kept for reference and archival purposes.
